Living in the mission of Jesus Christ, we are fostering a vibrant church in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati by embracing our future. Pastoral regions - a cluster, grouping, or association of autonomous parishes - are vital to our future. They are the result of years of planning and consultation among archdiocesan leaders and parishes.
Archbishop Schnurr announced that the pastoral region created back in 2005 including St. Francis de Sales in Lebanon and St. Philip the Apostle in Morrow would be enacted in 2015. Beginning July 1, 2015, Father Bernie became pastor for both regional parishes, and Father Eric Wood (ordained by Archbishop Dennis Schnurr May 17, 2015) became Parochial Vicar for the pastoral region and resided at the St. Philip Rectory. Each of the parishes remains open and autonomous.
