Celebration Choir - Age 18 and older. Rehearsal is held on Wednesday evening from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., September through June. The Celebration Choir leads sung prayer primarily at the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass and special celebrations of the Parish. The choir uses a wide repertoire of traditional, classical, and contemporary music.
PrayerSong Choir - Age 13 and older. Rehearsal is held on Wednesday evening from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., September through June. The PrayerSong Choir leads sung prayer primarily at the 11:00 a.m. Sunday Mass and special celebrations of the Parish. The PrayerSong Choir is an ensemble of vocal and instrumental musicians which currently include flute, guitars, and piano.
Psalmist Program (or cantor of the psalm) The Psalmist proclaims the Psalm after the first reading and leads the gathered assembly in singing the refrain. (Lectionary for Mass, no. 56) Membership is open to all parishioners, grade 6 through adult. Psalmist opportunities are available for all weekend Masses and other devotional rites. Audition and training are necessary for this ministry.
Youth Choir - Grade 6 through college. Rehearsal is held Wednesday evening 6:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., September through June. The Youth Choir leads sung prayer at the 11 a.m. Mass, usually twice a month and special celebrations of the Parish. The Youth Choir is currently updating its repertoire with new music. Joyful Noise Choir - Grades 3, 4, and 5. Rehearsal is held on Wednesday afternoons from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. The children generally sing at 5:30 p.m. Saturday Mass (Sunday Vigil) once a month, September through June, and special celebrations of the Parish.
Sympathy Singers - We pray together and support one another as a community on Sunday and so should it be at funerals in our parish. Please prayerfully consider being available when needed for a funeral.
